Don Bolen, PMP, CSM
Don is the principal for dBolen & Associates. He has a proven track record for building continuous learning environments, innovation, and increasing productivity in learning design and development that delivers business impact.
At Delta Air Lines, Don led corporate learning strategy. He also led the selection and implementation of Delta’s enterprise learning management system. Don was responsible for several organizational development and re-engineering initiatives that delivered positive business impact and generated significant cost savings, earning recognition both in Training Magazine’s "Training Top 100" and from the American Society for Training and Development.
His learning and development background includes video services and computer graphics for the Delta; media production and distance learning for a healthcare system; instructional design; classroom facilitation and award-winning video scriptwriting, producing and directing.
Don received his Bachelors Degree in History and his Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Georgia. He is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute and Certified Scrum Master via the Scrum Alliance.
Don is active in ASTD, the eLearning Guild, Technology Association of Georgia Workplace Learning Society and Project Management Institute. He was 2010 president of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of ASTD.
Don presented at the eLearning Guild's DevLearn11 and TechKnowledge 2012 on Agile Project Management for learning development. In 2014 Don presented on Agile Tools at Learning Solutions.
